tell me something i dont know = } -- im just cocky

Hey guys!

I'm getting close to 100th post=]

I took this test from amy's. And here's what I got, comment=)

Your view on yourself:

You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:

Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education:

You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.

The right job for you:

You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:

Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Voila~ I guess some of it is true. But I guess relying on this stuff on your life wouldn't bring you to New York or get your fats off huh? =) Time to get on with life..

OMG!!!!!! I have test on Monday!! OMG OMG!! All the conversion rates and shit!!

iAdios, amigos!

edit: one more...

Your Working Style

You have a great deal of warmth, but may not show it until you know a person well. You keep your warm side inside, like a fur-lined coat. You are very faithful to duties and obligations related to ideas or people you care about. You take a very personal approach to life, judging everything by your inner ideals and personal values.

You stick to your ideals with passionate conviction. Although your inner loyalties and ideals govern your lives, you find these hard to talk about. Your deepest feelings are seldom expressed; your inner tenderness is masked by a quiet reserve.

In everyday matters you are tolerant, open-minded, understanding, flexible, and adaptable. But if your inner loyalties are threatened, you will not give an inch. Except for your work's sake, you have little wish to impress or dominate. The people you prize the most are those who take the time to understand your values and the goals you are working toward.

Your main interest lies in seeing the possibilities beyond what is present, obvious, or known. You are twice as good when working at a job that you believe in, since your feeling adds energy to your efforts. You see the needs of the moment and try to meet them. You want your work to contribute to something that matters to you--human understanding, happiness, or health. You want to have a purpose beyond your paycheck, no matter how big the check. You are perfectionists whenever you care deeply about something.

You are curious about new ideas and tend to have insight and long-range vision. You are interested in books and language and are likely to have a gift of expression; with talent you may be excellent writers. You can be ingenious and persuasive on the subject of your enthusiasms, which are quiet but deep-rooted. You are often attracted to counseling, teaching, literature, art, science, or psychology.

The problem for you is that you may feel such a contrast between your inner ideals and your actual accomplishments that you may burden yourself with a sense of inadequacy. This can happen even when, objectively, you are being as effecive as others. It is important for you to find practical ways to express your ideals; otherwise you will keep dreaming of the impossible and accomplish very little. If you find no actions to express your ideal, you can become overly sensitive and vulnerable, with dwindling confidence in life and in yourself.

Political Systems Simplified

FEUDALISM: You have two cows. Your lord takes some of the milk.

PURE SOCIALISM: You have two cows. The government takes them and puts them in a barn with everyone else's cows. You have to take care of all of the cows. The government gives you as much milk as you need.

BUREAUCRATIC SOCIALISM: You have two cows. The government takes them and put them in a barn with everyone else's cows. They are cared for by ex-chicken farmers. You have to take care of the chickens the government took from the chicken farmers. The government gives you as much milk and eggs as the regulations say you need.

FASCISM: You have two cows. The government takes both, hires you to take care of them and sells you the milk.

PURE COMMUNISM: You have two cows. Your neighbors help you take care of them, and you all share the milk.

RUSSIAN COMMUNISM: You have two cows. You have to take care of them, but the government takes all the milk.

CAMBODIAN COMMUNISM: You have two cows. The government takes both of them and shoots you.

DICTATORSHIP: You have two cows. The government takes both and drafts you.

PURE DEMOCRACY: You have two cows. Your neighbors decide who gets the milk.

REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY: You have two cows. Your neighbors pick someone to tell you who gets the milk.

BUREAUCRACY: You have two cows. At first the government regulates what you can feed them and when you can milk them. Then it pays you not to milk them. Then it takes both, shoots one, milks the other and pours the milk down the drain. Then it requires you to fill out forms accounting for the missing cows.

PURE ANARCHY: You have two cows. Either you sell the milk at a fair price or your neighbors try to take the cows and kill you.

LIBERTARIAN/ANARCHO-CAPITALISM: You have two cows. You sell one and buy a bull.

SURREALISM: You have two giraffes. The government requires you to take harmonica lessons.

God I just hate my network with words.

God knows what am I going to say.

For this is the last time I am going to let my inspiration to just slip away like that.
OH Mai Gawd I just hate being so unable to release inspiration in form of words and instead I just go emo and high just like sohigh!

Shits.
Crapper.

Shoot la just giving it a try k?

Here goes.

>>Have you promoted to yourself?

Today our GBUS class just had this preview thing for this Milan Doshi talk and I was in this event thing to help out cuz like duh, I'm in GBUS.

So, we were doin' real great to make it a successful outcome. No one really cared much about what they were going to actually learn in this thingy I presume. I can see from the way that people promote, they just do it like, "you better fuckin' come cuz I need my fuckin' marks"

Okay maybe that was just sterotypish much but I just want to express this so that I relates to what I'm gonna say next.

Dear promoters, have you promoted to yourself? I mean as a promoter (kinda) myself, I felt the urge to really get yourself to the event, I mean synchronize yourself to it. Do you understand why we're here? Do you know what are you actually gonna do in the future?

I know my writing is kinda vague (traits of an emo not in good terms with words) but please bear with it... (I dun even know if someone reads it, but hell the fuck who cares?)

I know some of you guys are so funded and protected by your parents, me too. But it occurs to me that no one had ever shared this part of themselves that I am going to share.

Here goes. I'm really starting to think(haha I'm actually thinking, why didn't I think when I went Starbucks), about my future. I constantly used to get blabberin' from me mom n dad about how hard it is when you grow up; they usually do this when I laze round or play computer games. I just really started to know, how hard it is to take care of oneself AND study. (especially when you have sloppy housemates, no offense Xd) I'm just freakin' talkative here. And yes, I'm kinda a sometimes-clean-freak-but-not-tidy-freak-just-dusts-kinda person. Oops.

I KNOW some of you have your future planned, going to finish studying, and going to your fathers' companies. (what was my point har? urgh, thats why I just hate my way with words, I just get lost) I want you to know, how valuable had these two preview been, more importantly, the main thing. It's a chance. Obviously. See the bunting and I see six letters. C.H.A.N.C.E. or maybe C.H.A.N.G.E.

So, to take a chance, or not to?

I'm just bad at this. Blame my whacko brain. Seriously, many people perfectly understand this question literally BUT NEVER emotionally. I don't know what to say anymore. Just that I fuckin' support this charity of Milan Doshi's. He's been real kind to us. One more thing, whatever you do, to survive, you need money, it's how the system works.

I don't want to be in business. I'm a fuckin' engineer/ scientist/ asshole.

Rethink. I'm aiming for science too, but you'll never know how much I realized stuffs don't just come to you, go to them, same applies to the stuff-"realization" (I don't think people can decipher this sentence, even I got confusedXD)

There you go, end of blast. Blast of nonsense. Urgh, I'm just not a good writer. EMO EMO EMO....I just get emotional, I just wish to be able to do it better in words. ARGH..

= .

Argh, just think about it k? I'm freakin' supporting this event. I don't want to live blindly, ever.
Ciao. To stupidity and beyond~

stereotyping practice

I'm a big fat failure.

No details available. Go on, stereotype. Most people would say its because results didnt meet my expectations. Go go stereotype. Fact is it is very very good. I'm satisfied as long as I don't ruin my maths.

I am a big fat failure now.

Pathetic. Pathetic.
True true.
Pathetic. Just like all of them.

You were never meant to be here.
I was born in the wrong galaxy.

No further details available. Sorry I broke my promise of being happy all times.

Les tribute de liks =)

This is the tribute I promised liks =D present before you leave =)

“The Oddballs of 4 Newton”, we were once addressed so in high school. Okay, fine, I made that up – but that’s what makes me half of the whacko-“duet”; I’m a natural liar who’s compassionate about education with an occasional ignorant attitude.

Teach me to Lie? go teach thyself more wit;
I am chief Professor of it.

What can you say? I’m programmed to lie and I bet Lik was almost amused by it (especially when we played ‘Mafia’), just like me stupefied by his weirdness, which so unexpectedly made the biggest flip in my mental and emotional life.

My peculiar friend Lik Pin, Ong-
How shall I sing thy in a song,
While we round thy chose oblong,
I wondered if thee watched King Kong?

I got poetic somehow but my poems usually suck. Whilst I picked the plumper and shorter part of the two, Lik Pin was the taller – way tall (in fact, the tallest in class) and lankier counterpart of our duo. Bespectacled, he is a lefty born from the same year, about 4 months earlier than I, into a quite-well-to-do family of teachers as parents, two elder siblings and a younger one.

We used to attend the same primary and high schools, but I guess I wasn’t eccentric enough until I was 16. We were close classmates then, but our relationship grew exponentially when we started stereotyped each other as “weirdoes”. In many conversations we say the same things the same time; I do sometimes suspect him being a mind-reader or such equivalents.

Speaking English was definitely not a trend or norm in my high school, as most of the population in school comprises people who are stuck with their mother tongue, and people reluctant to perform interracial communication in English. How constructive of them! Only when I started to befriend this whimsical screwball I felt comfortable of conversing in English, instead I love to converse in it.

But the years of multilingualism had made me lose the urge and ability to do so fluently. I spoke English with many tongue-tied-up experiences, and it was really, really hilarious. What struck me most about this British-fan was that he never discouraged me to speak English, and that actually didn’t turn out good, because the tongue-tied-up habit was contagious! We then started blogging, in light of hoping to improve ourselves in putting thoughts into words, and it kind of works. A bit.

While a lot of people long to proceed to places like the States, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Australia, Lik chose the Great Britain as his favorite. And the main reason he fancies it is the slang. And I am not comfortable with the Britain just because of the slang! Such controversy. I couldn’t understand a thing they say when I watched 007 (blame my English!). But despite that we could communicate. Somehow our net communication reawakened my inner critic and creativity, and boom! I felt the surge of change. I do think that it is mostly because he provided something different, eccentric to my life, and that has triggered my mind to finally start working, after all these years.

Besides that he did recommended a few unheard bands, or rather unknown to me. We were both maniacs of music, we jam like crazy, sing like crazy and there’s this occasional musician’s block, Jesus. I had two parts, the classical part and the modern part, the former less known to anyone, the latter being protested most of the time by Lik. If I give him my usual playlist he’d most probably delete most of the files. He’d throw a disgusted expression at me if I played Chris Brown, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, the Jonas Brothers or Beyoncé Knowles. Nevertheless there was acceptance such as The Script, The Fray, The Ting Tings, Jason Mraz, Rihanna (partially), Panic at the Disco, and Avril Lavigne, but that’s all basically. Instead, he enjoys oldies (Beatles) sometimes, but most of the time he indulges in Radiohead, Uh Huh Her, the Paperbag Writer and other weird (to me and most pop fans) bands.

Frankly speaking before I befriended him I never had a friend to share so much of my musical life to, except the playlist part. Forget the differences, we were so synchronized when we jam, and please realize that I am currently lying. We never did manage to perfect a song but notwithstanding that we had so, so much fun and it helped a lot in igniting my musicianship. He made me realize that a musical talent is not only for show, instead we could have fun and go creative. And did I mention that he was a drum addict? He could basically drool due to desire of getting his hands on drums. Lust much?

He was always inserting elements of sarcasm into his conversations, the same way my randomness came into my daily talk. And with that he seemed to get everyone’s goat almost every time he speaks. I was amused of his ability to speak his mind – to be so open about stuff, issues. And could imitate this only when I speak to him, because when I spoke to him I never felt so natural before. Any crap of my mind would basically spill out. Somehow I’ve become more daring and open when I speak to anyone else gradually. He was always helping me out and I don’t know how would I possibly repay it.

Well, basically this screwball was kind of my life savior. Without him, my dull stupid previous life would continue till now. He was the trigger and my best friend. My first true friend. I really hope he has the best of luck in future undertakings, and remember our special “eccentric” bond, pal! Bon voyage! (I’m lying! He’s procrastinating at home now!)

Ciao for now. I miss(ed) Mraz..=(

ponder

I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge.
That myth is more potent than history.
That dreams are more powerful than facts.
That hope always triumphs over experience.
That laughter is the only cure for grief.
And I believe that love is stronger than death.
-Robert Fulghum

The opposite of love is not hate,
it's indifference.
The opposite of art is not ugliness,
it's indifference.
The opposite of faith is not heresy,
it's indifference.
And the opposite of life is not death,
it's indifference.
-Elie Wiesel

All men and women are born, live suffer and die;
what distinguishes us one from another is our dreams, whether they be dreams about worldly or unworldly things, and what we do to make them come about...
We do not choose to be born.
We do not choose our parents.
We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing.

We do not, most of us, choose to die;
nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death.
But within this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we live.
-Joseph Epstein

Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours.
-Ayn Rand

Smile at each other, smile at your wife, smile at your husband, smile at your children, smile at each other -- it doesn't matter who it is -- and that will help you to grow up in greater love for each other.
-Mother Teresa

Dream as if you'll live forever...live as if you'll die today.
-James Dean
